Ihr seid keine Sicherheit is a Berlin-based abolitionist group challenging the idea that police provide safety. Founded in 2021, they oppose police power expansion, highlight police ties to right-wing extremism, and advocate for alternatives like transformative justice, welfare, and community accountability.
Since April 2018, St. Pauli residents and allies have protested police surveillance, racist profiling, and criminalization in their neighborhood through "Copwatch Hamburg." They document police actions and resist racial profiling under "dangerous places" laws. They demand an end to racist policing and solidarity for affected communities.
